Along with sausage and meat products, butchers are increasingly producing catering products, many of which change with the seasons. Using the right machine is essential here. After the relaunch of the Robby vacuum filler from Vemag (Verden, Germany), responding to rapid changes in demand is now possible.
Combined with the Manual Patty Former 818 attachment, the Robby will become a reliable partner for hamburger production: This solution means that hamburger patties can be produced in different thickness and diameters to suit all requirements. Converting to a different patty size is child’s play according to the manufacturer.
Vemag is familiar with the requirements of artisanal businesses and adapts its machines and attachments to the changing needs of the user. The two-part and easily accessible hopper of the Robby has been completely overhauled: loading the machine is now quick and ergonomic. Thanks to its optimised product flow, the Robby reduces residual product by up to 30 percent, which ensures minimal rejects.
All tasks are activated directly on the twelve-inch touchscreen. The modern graphic interface is user friendly and enables intuitive operation. All functions and product parameters are set centrally – saving time and preventing operating errors.
The servomotor has sufficient power to process cold and very solid masses such as raw sausage. The filling output is stated as being up to 2,300 kg per hour.
Manufactured entirely from stainless steel, the Robby meets all hygiene requirements and can be cleaned with low-pressure devices and conventional cleaning agents. The entire control electronics are protected within the machine inside a steam- and dust-proof housing. The tried and tested Box-in-Box system is a unique selling point of all Vemag machines.
A large range of attachments make the Robby flexible: With filling tubes, casing holding and length portioning devices as well as filling heads from the Vemag modular system, the machine can quickly adapt to a wide range of tasks in a business. Robby completes all operations such as filling, clipping and twisting of collagen and cellulose casings as well as natural casings.
