VOSS (Butzbach, Germany) has been producing contemporary products for thermal treatment of foods for more than 175 years. The company’s cooking kettle systems have been refined and modernised over the years – all with the closest customer contact. The product refinement is most obvious in the change to the type of heating used. While initially the kettles were heated with wood and coal fires, over the decades heating with gas and oil was added. In turn, these types of heating disappeared, to be replaced by electric and steam heating.

Optimal production processes are achieved using modern controlling technology, which considers, for example, target and actual values for the core or kettle temperature as well as pre-set and cooking times.
Of course, all VOSS cooking kettles can be equipped with corresponding accessories for loading and unloading.
The kettles can also be connected to autoclaves or smoke generators.
