Südpack Verpackungen (Ochsenhausen, Germany) finalised its purchase of the Polish business Bahpol sp. z.o.o on 6 November 2015. The acquisition of Bahpol will enhance Südpack’s packaging finishing capacities while continuing to expand its service portfolio for its international customers. As part of the Südpack group, Bahpol will operate under the new name Südpack Kłobuck (abbreviation: SPK).
“We are very pleased about the new addition to our corporate group,” said Johannes Remmele, Südpack Group Managing Partner. “Our goal for the years ahead is to continue to grow internationally. The new site and our new team members in Poland represent another significant step towards achieving this goal.”
Bahpol sp. z.o.o. is based in Kłobuck (near Tschanstochau) and has developed over the last 20 years into a successful manufacturer of premium packaging finishing with expertise in flexographic printing. As part of the Südpack group, the company will offer services to its customers under the name Südpack Kłobuck (SPK). Remmele considers the fusion of the two companies as a real “win-win situation”: “The new site has all the necessary certificates for packaging finishing along with a modern machinery park to ensure maximum production and the highest product quality. This not only expands our Südpack portfolio, it also offers Bahpol a number of opportunities to benefit from the Südpack network.”
