In May 2021, Handtmann (Biberach, Germany) presented many innovations and further developments at the digital Handtmann Food Tec. These included the new VF 800 vacuum filler models for medium-sized businesses and larger meat producers with branch outlets. Both models are universally suitable for food processing, but especially for meat, meat substitutes, soups, salads, delicatessen, and convenience products.
The VF 820 and VF 828 models feature the new Hygienic Design. Automated pre- and intermediate cleaning programs, an optionally integrable UVC disinfection module, and easily verifiable cleaning quality guarantee excellent hygiene conditions. Handling and ergonomic advantages, refined down to the last detail, stand for user-friendliness and efficient work. The gentle conveying properties of the VF 800 vane feeder and digital monitoring guarantee reproducible quality. Numerous equipment options, additional functions and modules, together with digital features, support versatile and economical use. Integration into complex line solutions all the way up to packaging units is possible. A long service life and robustness at industry standards ensures long-term stable portioning accuracy through reduced wear. The machine’s portioning capacity is up to 1,200 portions per minute.
Particularly when making cooked sausages, the VF 820 scores with its versatility and convinces with consistent performance and gram-accurate quality.
The VF 828 S has a flexibly scalable output. The VF 828 S3 variant can produce up to 3,000 kilograms of product per hour and the VF 828 S5 variant up to 5,000 kilograms per hour. In combination with the integrated filler-grinder, the VF 828 S is suitable not only for making boiled sausage but also for fresh and raw sausage and products made from ground material such as hamburger meat, burgers, cevapcici, or twisters.
