Control system stores parameters

The ClipEx casing sealing machine from Frey Maschinenbau (Herbrechtingen, Germany) seals casings during sausage production. The end of the natural casing is fed manually into the threader and then sealed using the temperature-controlled sealing bars. The end is also cut from the sausage in the process, creating a sale-ready closure with the best possible appearance. Subsequent treatment is not necessary.

ClipEx for sheep and hog casings can seal a sausage skin at the linkage, producing two closed ends. This is of particular interest for businesses using the new closed, long natural casings. These require the filled sausage chains to be separated at stick length.

The new control module for the ClipEx CXC casing sealing machine has an alphanumeric display. The closing time and the operating temperature can now be individually preselected for each type of casing on the display. The new control module also offers the ability to save the individual parameters in a sealing program with the product names.

The mobile machine can be used on the filling table with a table clamp or directly on the hanging lines. For use on hanging lines, a bottom rail has also been designed for horizontal movement. The empty portion of the casing can be saved when using the machine on hanging lines. The machine is also available with optional foot operation. A specially manufactured footswitch made from stainless steel ensures that the operator has both hands free.

The operator saves on costs for clips and laborious removal of clips and the risk of forgotten clips are no longer a problem.

The sausages can be cut and then packaged immediately after cooking or smoking in the sausage separating machine with no need for further inspections. The machines are easy to operate and clean. The sealing bars are pneumatically closed.
