Ready-to-fill net casings
Texda Textildarm GmbH (Osnabrück, Germany) manufactures sausage casings from textile materials. With their different finishes and patterns, the new polyester knit CasingNet/UltraPro net casings provide meat and sausage products with a highly individual appearance. UltraPro offers optimal peeling and formation of a product’s own skin. It can be used for cooked or smoked meat products as well as for raw sausages, semi-dry products and poultry products. Consistent process technology, a one-step process and traditional appearance give these new net casings a high impact, according to the manufacturer. The consumer can choose among ten different tastes and six smoke options. Whether these are maple or cherry-wood smoke, this variation provides additional incentive for customers to buy. CasingNet/UltraPro casings are provided ready to fill, either as rolls, clipped sections and spools.
A further product is TexdaPro, made to professionally transfer color from the casing to the sausage. Golden Smoke and Natural Smoke thus provide a natural smoky appearance with a light aroma. Caramel Black, Caramel Roti, Curry and Paprika, on the other hand, transfer only their respective colors. A series of advantages make TexdaPro a functional casing for industrial meats and sausage manufacturing.
In addition to reduced process times, higher yield and constant product quality, other product features include appetizing presentation and easy handling when removing the casings due to their special glued seam, according to the manufacturer. TexdaPro is caliber-true and ideally suited for slicer products. The company recommends TexdaPro for boiled sausages, cooked ham and poultry products. It can be supplied ready for filling as shirred wares in sections of 58 mm to 300 mm in width as well as caliber sizes from
39 mm to 200 mm.
