Refrigeration for the last mile
Both caterers as well as private end-customers are placing increasing trust in the services offered by online companies that specialize in high-quality meat products. Examples include Block House or Intergast, which both rely on packaging solutions from Panther Packaging (Tornesch, Germany).
Today, steak and burger connoisseurs can choose from many products. On one hand, this raises the question of the origin of the premium products from national and international meat producers. On the other hand, it increases the variety of flavors available by processing the most diverse cattle breeds. For safe and secure distribution of its high-quality products, Panther provides sustainable corrugated board packaging. Block House, Hamburg, which has specialized in high-quality steaks since 1968, enjoys great success in online sales of roast beef, fillet or ribeye, or with various American burgers. In response to the increased interest in sustainability among friends of high-quality meat, Block House has now changed the packaging materials it uses for online sales. The 100 percent recyclable corrugated board packaging with a brown outer cover is finished in three-color flexo-printing with the best branding. This ensures that the company’s products reach consumers safely and securely throughout Germany.
Intergast’s core business is supplying meat to bulk consumers. Its “Master Chef Edition” combines various burgers made of high-quality beef. Intergast requested a new packaging design for its premium “Färsen Burger”, “Simmentaler Burger” and “Angus Burger” patties. It now has a striking dark design in the background that contrasts with the schematic representation of the burgers. The design has also been flexo-printed by Altonaer Wellpappenfabrik.
