Cutting in the Westerwald
At Treif (Oberlahr, Germany) everything revolves around cutting food. With around 500 employees worldwide, the company develops and produces machines, plants and systems exclusively for the cutting process. Customer-oriented solutions for trade and industry are planned and implemented, including automated line solutions for products such as meat, sausage, cheese, bread and bakery products. The company has four divisions for these areas: Dicing (cubing for sausage salads and goulash), Portion Cutting (for bone-in and boneless meat such as schnitzels and chops – also according to weight), Slicing (sausage, ham, and cheese into thin slices) and Bread Cutting.
In the field of weight-accurate cutting of bone-in and boneless products, Treif has more than 20 years of experience. Nearly all the company’s machines are manufactured at its headquarters in Oberlahr and meet the highest hygiene requirements. Its own blade production division guarantees optimal slicing.
