The new two-color PP tray that is part of ES-Plastic’s (Passau, Germany) Eco-Pro family is attractive and colorful. It is available in various color combinations such as green/white or red/white. All RAL and Pantone colors as well as any type of engraving are possible on the long side of the tray. This enables conspicuous presentation of fine meat wares. For a special feel, the manufacturer recommends its “Eco Pro Bicolor” with its slightly velvety micro-foam appearance. This version is likewise manufactured of PP and is 100 percent recyclable.
The optional Smart-Peel-System allows a peelable upper film to be grasped easily and pulled open. As with all other Eco-Pro family packages, the new tray is very light; all environmental and sustainability factors have been thoroughly complied with, according to the manufacturer. Its light weight – beginning with eleven grams – saves fossil-based raw materials, reduces trash and DSD fees. With measurements of 190 x 144 x 50 mm, the PP tray has a volume of 948 ml when completely full. Special formats are available upon request.
