Peter Huber (46) is the new Managing Director of the Schwäbisch Hall-based company that specializes in weighing and packaging technology. The industrial engineer was most recently the Managing Director of Linde Fördertechnik Kft. in Hungary. Hubert replaces Stefan Schiffer, who left Ishida for personal reasons and on the best of terms.

Hubert has held many positions of responsibility in large companies. He is familiar with weighing and automation technology from his years as project manager in weighing, dosing and material handling engineering at Schenck Process GmbH. Following this, he was the regional and international head of Linde AG’s Material Handling Division. In 2005, Hubert was appointed Managing Director of Linde Fördertechnik Kft. in Hungary, with responsibilities for sales, service and replacement parts.

Previous Managing Director Stefan Schiffer developed and successfully led the Ishida Europe branch office responsible for Germany and Austria since the company’s founding in 2004. In fiscal year 2008, a sales growth of 18 percent was achieved.

Hubert’s goals for the future are clear: “The world’s market leader Ishida must continue growing in Germany and Austria. To ensure this, we will place our focus equally on partial weighers as well as on planning and delivering complete weighing and packaging solutions.”
